As we pack our boxes and say goodbye to Missouri, I took a few photographs of our Missouri home. This is the place we will be coming back to when we make the trek back from Texas. It is the spot where my siblings and I spent our childhood days, and now the favorite place on earth of all seven of my parent's grandchildren. At the risk of sounding too sentimental, my brothers and sister hope this land will never leave the family. There is always yummy, fresh food, lots of hugs, and no worries of traffic and pollution. My oldest daughter insists "it is the best smelling place on earth!"
Now that I have my own children, I realize this really was an idyllic place to be a child.
