Near our Amsterdam abode, on Tweede Anjeliersstraat (I know, one crazy street name after another), my girls managed to find the sweetest bakery and cupcake shop. Bakeries are literally on every corner in some European cities, but what made this place special was the exquisitely flavored frosting. E ordered the raspberry and W ordered 3 mini flavors lined up on a string. I don't think I have ever tasted a raspberry butter cream like this one. The other special thing about this place was their icey cold Fanta...the Euro-Fanta made with real fruit juice unavailable stateside. Lekker!!
