Sisters
For some reason I always knew I would be a mom of girls. I treasure the time I have with each of my children, and even in the trenches of dirty diapers, I know that even though some days feel long, the years with them are short. I blog only at night for this reason! In the evenings I have time to reflect on the day, and this morning as we were playing outside {perfect weather!}, we started a game. We asked each other about our favorites. I spend so much time with them, I thought for sure I would know what their answers would be. Sure, some answers were predictable, but others came as a complete surprise to me. If you have kids, I highly recommend asking them lots of questions, and truly engaging and listening to them. Tonight at bedtime they both told me they can't wait to play it again. Elyse: age 6 1/2
